Melanie Bakala

Welcome to the Melanie Bakala State Farm Insurance Agency. My experience at my office has taught me how to provide the right protection for our customers, ranging from auto insurance, homeowner’s insurance, renter’s insurance, life insurance, boaters insurance, business insurance and financial services. Before opening Melanie Bakala State Farm Insurance Agency, I worked in the finance industry. I was born and raised in Washington. I attended school at Lutheran University where I received a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations. Please stop in if you’re relocating to Lacey, Shelton, McCleary, Elma, Allyn, Union, Grapeview, Matlock, Olympia, Tumwater and Mason, Thurston, and Grays Harbor counties – my team who are bilingual in English and Spanish would love to assist you!

I love to spend time outdoors in Lacey. I love living in Shelton and helping support out local community. My agency supports the Turning Pointe Domestic Violence Center, Saints Pantry Shelton Food Bank, and local PTA endeavors for local schools. I am also a member of the Chamber of Commerce in Lacey and the Thurston County Association of Realtors. My husband, Jim and three kids and two grandchildren keep me very busy! We love to spend our summers on the boat as a family any chance we get.

My State Farm Insurance office is in Lacey. I came to State Farm in 2009 and we opened our doors in January 2016. I feel blessed to be in Lacey, which is such a welcoming community. I really enjoy Thurston County and plan to take advantage of everything it has to offer. I am excited for the opportunity to help customers with insurance and financial services to help prepare them for life’s unexpected.
